North of England indoor champs for the U17 & U15 - 26 January 2008 - Debbie Wilson

Today was the North of England indoor champs for the U17 & U15. Although Katherine(15) didn't have a brilliant day and she was disappointed with her 2.90 vault she came home with the silver medal. After training this week on a bigger and strong pole fingers crossed for the England Athletics Indoor Champs on 23/24th Feb in Birmingham.

Nicole Bewley(13) was unlucky in her U15 60 hurdles 12.00, clipping one midway through, threw her stride pattern out, although she managed to keep on her feet and finish the race. She then went on to get bronze in the high jump 1.40, and threw a PB in the shot putt 7.01.

Ashley Appleyard(14) ran a PB in his U17 200m 24.55 and 400m 54.00. This got him through to the 400m final 54.98.
