Recovering

After the Percy Pud my body basically refused to let me run.  I think I picked up an injury a few weeks ago when I fell down many times at the Pain Barrier in my “core” area but I kind of ignored it like runners do.

I was unable to compete in the December DAC Time Trials.

I have been having great problems with my stomach and the top of my legs which has been uncomfortable and sometimes painful.

I had a couple of sessions at Blizard Physio, one to sort out a stiff back (before Percy Pud) and just before Christmas to deal with my stomach and leg problems.  I am pleased to report I genuinely believe I am on the mend.  I have been stretching like a mad man for the last 3 days and I think this has really helped and I have been using my turbo trainer.

Fingers crossed I should be back to full fitness in a couple of weeks which is great as myself, Rose and Janet are going to start a beginners running group.
